Metal-Porcelain Crowns

Metal substructures are produced using 2 different methods and materials in Felix. The first method is the classical method, which involves casting with nickel-free metal cores. The second method is milling from CoCr blocks using the engraving method. The designs are made directly from the model scanned in the digital environment to minimize errors. It is generally preferred in full work on implants and occlusally screwed works mostly because it is relatively costy compearing casting.

The metal content in its structure results in less light transmission, causing inadequate aesthetics compared to zirconium and full ceramics. Additionally, over time, it may lead to gray discoloration at gums.

It is also known that although it uses alloys that do not contain nickel in its structure, it can rarely cause allergic reactions.
